http://tourvideos.com/ Strolling through the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Vietnam, in the evening is a pure delight, especially after a light rain has wet the streets to provide a glistening reflection of the lights from the many restaurants, shops and bars open late. We visit the weekend Night Market, and consider how the economy of Vietnam is doing relatively well.
Location: Hanoi Old Quarter New Facebook Page - https://www.facebook.com/karaandnate/ Visiting the Old Quarter in Hanoi was by far my favorite activity in Hanoi, Vietnam! I could literally just walk around the old quarter for weeks without getting board. While walking around the old quarter in Hanoi you constantly have to dodge motor bikes! It really keeps you on your toes. You never know what you're going to see when walking around the old quarter. One second you might see chickens playing in the road. The next minute you'll see hundreds of knock off Rolex watches. One thing that I guarantee you'll see TONS of stores selling cheap North Face apparel. Apparently North Face apparel in Hanoi is cheap because the North Face factory is located in Vietnam? I don't know how true this is, but ...

http://tourvideos.com/ We are going shopping in Hanoi, Vietnam. Shopping in Hanoi, Vietnam. Come along with Hang, our local friend, who discusses the architecture of the Old Quarter in Hanoi and describes the shops, including the big indoor market. Then we go to a very modern shopping mall, much different than the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a great city to visit and shop.
Most visited-Old Quarter of Hanoi Vietnam, often called “36 old Streets ( there are more than actual 36 streets) the Old Quarter is a precious legacy of Hanoi’s ancient past but the area is challenged by rapid changes Today, handicraft production is increasingly replaced by restaurant, shops and hostels and many more. International, National and Local are now formulating plans to preserve the historic ambience of the Old Quarter.
We had a blast shopping at the Hanoi night market the day after my birthday. There are plenty of cheap clothes and goods to shop for and a few good eats as well. Getting there is a bit chaotic though. Felt like I was playing Frogger trying to cross the busy street.
A walking tour of the Old Quarter was a great way to see Hanoi, my favorite city in Vietnam. I was smack in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle-there were motor scooters everywhere and all types of shops and markets lining the streets. WARNING: At 4:23 there is a 10 second countdown until a frog is chopped into pieces (like in biology class) in the food market. 0:00 My hotel and surrounding area 0:35 Traffic circle near Hoan Kiem Lake 0:48 Motor Scooters 1:29 Graphics with Old Quarter facts + figures 2:03 Local coffee shop 2:22 Beginning of private walking tour 2:40 Food market tour 4:23 10 second countdown until frog is chopped up 9:02 Flower market 9:24 Welding street 9:41 Altar and funeral street 10:46 Approaching Beer street 11:09 Beer Corner/French architecture 11:52 Back to ...

During the Tet New Year in Hanoi, some local antique dealer and antique collectors open their shops along the Hang Ma street for sale (for lucky, so you can be lucky too to find a good one or good deal with the seller) To meet with local antique dealer or collectors in Hanoi, please click at: http://www.vietnampathfinder.com/tours/245/Hanoi-Antique-Tour---1Day.html
In our latest travel video we hop on our bicycles and pedal around the old quarter area of Hoi An, Vietnam in search of custom made dresses for Audrey at the many tailors and custom designers found in and around the central part of town. With over 200 different tailors clustered in Hoi An, it's a rather daunting task to narrow down the selection to just a few different stores. Without a specific shop or store in mind, we had no idea where we'd end up. Luckily, after spending several days exploring Hoi An, a few specific dresses caught Audrey's ever discerning eye. Audrey clearly has a much better eye for this kind of thing than I do ;) GEAR WE USE Olympus OM-D E-M5 II: http://amzn.to/1OchS7t Canon G7X: http://amzn.to/1YdjsYX Olympus 14-150mm II Lens: http://amzn.to/1Y79zeM Rode Vide...

When I walked into VivoCity on opening day I was amazed to see just how many people there were. Saigon's shoppig experience just got even better for residents of Saigon South. Thousands packed this new mall located in District 7's Phu My Hung on Nguyen Van Linh Road. The outside is rather impressive with its lights and inside the mall packs a frigid cold AC worth visiting just for that alone. The mall lacks a designated food court area like other malls in the area including The Crescent Mall and The Parkson Paragon, but it has major restaurants spread throughout its five floors, including my favorites, McDonalds and Kichi Kichi. On the first day most restaurants were packed, so I came back a few days later to experience some delicious food at Sumo BBQ Buffet restaurant, where for aroun 18 ...
